This Neptunes produced track is defo a new avenue for 'The Game'. It doesn't sound like a beat that he'd sit on AT ALL, but it is nice to see him try something new and more commercial. This is a feel good summer jam and I'm loving it. Pharrell never disappoints in the beat department, shawty knows what he's doing! The Game fans may think this is a bit 'soft' for the gangsta rapper, but I think it's refreshing! (JT is sitting on the track nicely...as usual!)

Well it looks like another 'Electro/Pop' smash for Kelly Rowland taste, but this ! This is not to EVERYONE'Selectro/club vibe seems to be working for her, and im sure that crowd are gonna love it in the clubs! which left me with a 'ehh so,so' feeling. To me the video looks like a mix between 'Ive got a feeling' & 'Just dance', but with a MUCH smaller budget. I do think she looks the best she's ever looked tho, I don't love it & I don't hate it. It was OK.

It was around last year this time that Alex and Bee made their extremely MEMORABLE appearance together on the X-Factor. That performance still gives me goosebumps to this day! The two are still very much in contact, so I thought id shed some light on what the two are up to these days.. :-)

Alexandra Burke

In a previous post I told ya'll that Alex had flown sate side to shoot the video for her SECOND single 'Broken Heels'. These shots where taken on the set, and Alexandra is looking mighty cute in her American Football get up! The Red One produced track will be released on Janurary 11th 2010, and the video is set to premiere in about 2-3 weeks time. Like 'Bad Boys', my first reaction to the song isn't a good one. . . but I'm sure it will grow on me and will have the song stuck in my head. The video will supposedly have sum KILLER choreography so I can't wait to see it!

Like EVERY European artist, Alexandra is keen to break the U.S! Breaking into the U.S industry is probably one of the hardest and if achieved.. most rewarding career move for any artist. She recently spoke to The Mirror about Bee and achieving success in America:

ALEX ON CRACKING THE US:

“I want to crack America but I’m c***ping myself. Even Europe scares me. America’s a huge deal. In the UK everyone knows me because of the show but in America they have no idea who I am.

Over the weekend I watched ' Beyonce: I AM YOURS (Thanksgiving TV Special) ' and Ive never felt more inspired, more proud and more completely amazed by Beyonce! Her work ethic is like NO OTHER ARTIST!! When you watch the video below you will understand why I say this. You can hate on her, not like her music or even disagree with the way her camp do business. . . but if you can't agree with the fact that she is simply THE BEST ENTERTAINER OUT RIGHT NOW - then you clearly need to miss me with all that hater shid!!!

The TV special is a mix of the behind the scene footage and her performances in vegas, you get to see:

Last night (Nov 29th), the British public finally voted out Wales teen singer Lloyd Daniels! With no sing off or bottom two, he was cut short of the semi finals. This year has been a disappointment in my eye. . . Last year had some amazing vocal talent and the show was just more exciting on a whole! However they have managed to pull in some power house acts for the Sunday Results show....

Rihanna performed her latest dark single 'Russian Roulette' for an excited x-factor crowd! I felt her vocals sounded pretty much THE SAME as the track - however when she needed to belt out the big notes.... she fell flat! As much as I love me some Ri Ri, her LIVE performances are seriously putting me to sleep ... ZzZzZzZ. She looked AMAZING, but sitting her ass in that chair for most of the song, and then kind of walking up and down the stage isn't doing it for me. Ummmm. Hmmmmm. Ok well, I love Kelly Clarkson as an artist and loved her on A.I... however for some reason, her fashion sense has just gone further and further down hill! Everyone keeps going on about her gaining weight.. yes she has gained weight, so what? She can still sing!! I think if she took of the tights and pinned her hair up, it would do the outfit a WHOLE LOTTA GOOD! The dress isn't doing it for me either.... maybe the 'just above the knee' length isn't working.... hmmm im not sure. I dont like it... so im giving it a 'HOT MESS' stamp!

Jenny from the block is returning to her music with her 1st official single 'Louboutins', off her sixth studio album 'Love?'. The Dream & Tricky Stewart produced track was originally given to Brandy before she left Epic Records. I'm glad J.Lo picked up the track because this isn't B's style AT ALL! It's suited for someone who doesn't have a very strong voice... ( ENTER J.LO). It's not a song I would download from iTunes... but if I heard it on the radio I'd definitely bop my head along to the beat!

Jennifer will be performing this song LIVE at this years American Music Awards - The show will air in America this Sunday (Nov 2nd) @ 8pm/7 c. Timberland ft/ Justin Timberlake - Crazy Girl

Timbo is back with another album 'Shock Value: 2', and as usual he's bringing a few heavy hitters along for the ride! 'Crazy Girl' didn't make the official track lisiting for the album, but it as a track intended for the album! The dynamic duo fail to 'WOW' me on this track, but it doesn't disappoint either...I can see defo see why it didn't make the cut. To me it sounds like a recycled beat - something that ive heard from Timberland before. Having said that, production wise no one is really touching Timbo! A nice track... the two work well together.

Mariah Carey was spotted turning on the Christmas Lights @ Westfield's Shopping Centre in London yesterday (Nov 19th). The singing fan fav supposedly sang a few of her tracks, then turned on the lights for shoppers! Awww how lovely... I was telling my friend the other day while we shopped in Westfields (ironically lol), that when I think of Christmas .. Mariah's "All I want For Christmas" sticks out in my head the most!! Just gives you that Christmassy feeeeeel... :-)

Fab celebrated his 32nd Birthday the other night at Hotel Rivington in NYC (Nov 18th). Although we don't really hear much from Fab over here in the U.K, a few heavy hittersturned up to support him at his party. Jay-Z, Diddy, Tyreese and Amber Rose were all in the building! C Lister Adrianne Bailon (formally of 3LW) also attended the event - A few months ago Adrienne was linked to Fab romantically, but she shut down the rumours real quick, saying that they were 'Only Friends'.....hmmm. Anyway it looked like a fun night! Do ya'll remember when Fab KEPT spelling his name out on records? F-A-B-O-L-O-U-S.... dude was definetly hooked on phonics...

British and X-Factor born star Leona Lewis was spotted along with industry friends, at her album launch party for 'ECHO'. The event was held at Hyde Lounge on Tuesday (Nov 17th) - Leona looked cute in her purple body con dress and corset styled belt... but I felt she cudda pulled a better outfit out the bag. Ciara on the other hand was KILLING it that night! She looked amazing in her little black dress with a pair of Maggie's by Christian Louboutin... GET EM CI CI! GQ magazine recently honoured Drake, Wale and Kid Kudi in their latest 'MEN OF THE YEAR' issue! Beyonce ft/ Lady GaGa - Video Phone (Extended remix)

Ive been waiting like an extra week to see this video, and I wasn't left disappointed or extra happy after watching it. I don't feel the video has shown ANY type of growth! It looks like a video from the 'B'Day' collection - so who ever edited this or chose the direction, I feel they could have produced a much better video on a whole.
Having said that, B is a bad bish and kills it every time! I enjoyed the colour backdrops & different fierce outfits. The break down with lady gaga was dope too. I LOVEEE B .... & this video is Sexyy and fierce. But I feel like I wanted a lil more than that from her this time around.......

Alicia Keys - Try Sleeping with a broken heart

Alicia Keys is known for her video's with a story line, and this is another one to add to the stack! I actually really liked the song when I first heard it,and after seeing the video.. I'm kinda left nodding and saying "that was nice". I got the concept of being a super hero and still having a a broken heart.. the lil girl's dog died and she healed the girls broken heart.. and so on and so on. Although she looks effortlessly beautiful as usual, everything was just "nice" about the video and the song. Nothing HOT or FIERCE........ But maybe sometimes a lil nieceness is needed?

Shakira ft/ Lil Wayne - Give it up to me

I lubbsss me some shakira! Some people don't really get her or her voice, but it's just different and I like that about her. You can tell that this video was quickly put together if I'm honest..... The catchy Timberland produced track, has been added to her album listing at the last minute - I think her record company made a smart decision! I'm so over hearing wayne on EVERYONES track now.....the choreography was good, the song is catchy..... a solid effort from Shakira.

The ORIGINAL Sugababes set to reform?

As most of you know by now the current 'Sugababes', no longer have any founding/original members left in the group. The rumors of reforming come a few weeks after FOUNDING member Keisha Bunchanan was kicked out of the group - and replaced by Euro vision singer Jade Ewen.

According to Holy Moly the original line up ( Siobhan,Mutya & Keisha) are planning to reform and come back together as a group!! It's been said that Mutya has gotten back in contact with Siobhan who is some what reluctant about the reform, but is willing to hear her out. They've also been to their THIRD meeting with the record label to discuss future plans. If all of this really is happening then I CANNOT WAIT for all the madness to unfold!! :-D..... Happy Daysss.

Rachel Adedji To Work With JLS writers!

-Says it like the man on X-Factor- RAACCHEEELL ADDEDDJIIII is set to work with JLS writers some time in the future! The London native was booted off the X-Factor two weeks ago, after being in the bottom two TWICE BEFORE. Although Rachel had one of the best SINGING voices in the competition, viewers just weren't getting her as a person.
Rachel let slip in an interview that the JLS boys had informed her that Daniel Bullard (who wrote 'Beat Again'), wanted to work with the quirky styled singer ASAP! She better not come out with that cheesy crap.... anywho, we wish her nothing but the best!

JLS top the Charts with 'Everybody In Love'!

Middle of the road Boy Band sensation 'JLS' are once again at #1. JLS have made history as they are the ONLY act this year to have TWO singles sell over 100k in it's first week! Considering the runners up on X-Factor often go straight back to their day job, it's actually worked in their favour that they came second - they're doing SO WELL. Ive had my doubts about their material, and the fact that they've gone pop mainstream.... But I do give credit where credit is due and their doing an excellent job of proving people wrong! JLS can also add another line to their resume, as their tour is now officially SOLD OUT. Well done boys :-)

Joss Stone 'Lily Allen Is Not A Singer'

Soulful UK singer Joss Stone revealed to the papers that she doesn't think Lily Allen is a 'Singer'. The 22 year old released her album 'Colour Me Free' last week Monday after a long messy battle with her record label! She insisted that artists should just accept the fact that their music will be downloaded, and that they should make their money from touring instead.

"She (Lily) needs to sell records because she's not a singer, and that's not an offence to her because I think that she knows that too," she told The Mirror.

"I think she's a performer and she's more of a personality than she is a singer. But I think when musicians are really making real music people come to the show and that's what we make our money from, from playing live.

"I think it's probably harder for an artist like Lily and any other pop acts. It's really about the track and about their personality and their celebrity and that's how they make their money is selling those records.

"So the downloads - she's not going to win that fight. None of us will win that fight. So let's just accept it and let's see it as something that can be beautiful and it might change music for the better. It might sort the weeds from the flowers."

Allen was supported and backed by some songwriters/artists to stop the illegal download of music.

Yesterday (Nov 9th) Ri Ri sat down with British born presenter Alexa Chung, to briefly discuss her 20/20 interview, her upcoming album AND her fierce fashion picks! This interview actually made me fall in love with Rihanna ALL OVER AGAIN - and reminded me why I liked her an her music in the first place. I havent seen or heard Ri Ri be herself since January this year. She was laughing, interacting and looked generally RELAXED. Now that she's done her interview on the incident, I hope she can move forward with her life.

Although Rihanna's interview brought up many questions from fans and haters, as to why she chose to do the interview now.. KNOWING her album was about to drop. The POSITIVE outshone the negative - the National Domestic hotline calls went up by 59% and the helpline geared towards teenagers went up by 73% AFTER her interview had aired!!

This will be Cheryl's second single off her debut solo album, also entitled 'Three Words'.I can see what she was trynna do here, take risks with songs and try something different. It's rocky/elctro vibe is evident... but I'm not sure she delivers this the way it was intended to. Obviously still no 'GREAT' vocals from Cheryl. But do we still love her?.... OF COURSE!

For some reason, whenever I hear a snoop song.. I feel like I wanna crip walk or throw up signs or SUTTIN! lool Dream's voice really annoys me if I hear it for too long, so his part is pretty BLAH to me. As usual Snoop delivers his smooth cali flow, thats been working for him for all these years. If you like heavy beats, you'll like this song!

Rihanna says it's that time again, 'THE WAIT IS OVA'!

Ri Ri is FINALLY back to her day job! If you forgot what that was, she's a recording artist (lol). Her Label Def Jam went in to promo overdrive this week, with news of her album plans. Rihanna released details via her Official Twitter, that 'THE WAIT IS OVA' will be released November 23rd.

She has had MORE THAN enough time, so I'm hoping that Ri Ri's album will be a solid effort from the popstar! Ive never really been disappointed with her singles anyway... excited to see what she can deliver! According to numerous reports, she has been working with Justin Timberlake, Tyson Ritter of the All-American Rejects, Drake, Ne-Yo, Akon and more.

On Tuesday (October 13th), she was seen heading to a recording studio in NYC. The singer sat down to dinner with Jay-Z, before heading out to lay down some tracks.

Last week she was spotted shooting the art work & cover for her forthcoming album in Berlin!

Leona Lewis Promotes Her Book @ Waterstones & Gets ASSULTED!

X-Factor born star Leona Lewis was spotted yesterday (October 14th), at Waterstone's Book Store to promote her new autobiographical book 'Dreams'. However everything didn't go to plan as a man was arrested for "slapping/punching" Leona in the face after she signed his book!! An eye witness at the scene told the BBC: "My brother saw the whole incident. He [the attacker] walked up there with the book, she signed it and, as she looked up, he just punched her. He [my brother] actually heard the impact. Suddenly the security all jumped on him and they were trying to pull him out and he was just laughing, he thought it was funny.” The picture above was taken after the incident, and as everyone can see Leona was CLEARLY shaken up by the whole thing! Her Management released this statement shortly after:

‘Leona was the victim of an unprovoked attack this afternoon at her book signing. The police were called immediately and medical attention has been sought. Leona is understandably shaken and apologizes to the fans she was unable to meet and complete signings.’

This actually made me look twice when I read that LEONA LEWIS of all people had been attacked! Sweet, lovely, soft spoken Leona Lewis! Why would someone want to do that to her? There has been so much controversy surrounding the sugababes and their new line up lately, I'm surprised they've had time to promo a new single! 'About A Girl ' is the follow up to 'Get Sexy' by the trio, from their forth coming studio album 'Sweet 7'. The uptempo club song is produced by Red One, and is defo in keeping with their new sound. To be honest I much prefer the Keisha version because it makes the song more memorable! Keisha had one of those recognisable soulful voices, that Jade fails to bring to the track. Although I think they both have good voices, Keisha gets my vote on this one. A very catchy hook, and a summer clubbin vibe.... their fans will be happy with the turn out!

A 30 something year old LA resident Alexsandra Wright (above) has filed a paternity suit claiming Beyonce and Solange’s daddy Mathew Knowles is HER baby’s daddy. And nope–the woman aint Mama Tina. According to TMZ:

We’ve learned Alexsandra Wright filed the case in L.A. County Superior Court. Wright lives in L.A. — she works in the name-branding business. We’re told she’s in her late 30s.

Wright, who is 6-months pregnant, filed the case last week, alleges Knowles is the father. Sources say Wright is repped by Neal Hersh, who is currently repping Lamar Odom in the prenup negotiations with Khloe Kardashian.

I really don't know where to start. I didn't actually have high expectations for this awards show, but I felt some what optimistic and gave them the benefit of the doubt! For those of you who don't know what the MOBO AWARDS are, it's basically the UK's version of the BET AWARDS. The Music. Of . Black . Origin Awards took place in Glasgow this year, and despite the controversy surrounding the decision, it seems as though Scotland accepted the awards show with open arms.

THE WINNERS:
Best UK Act: N-Dubz (TINCHY STRYDER should have won, for what he's achieved this year)

La Toya Jackson hopping onstage everytime someone had finished performing in the 'MJ Tribute section', to say "GOOD JOB, THAT WAS AWESOME!" Who's Idea was it to give La Toya a microphone?
The Funky House Mini Performances! What was the point? it was like 10 seconds of each song to 'warm up the crowd'

THE GOOD:

VV Brown's vocals on the last performance. She has a really nice voice!
When they rolled the credits at the end!
Reggie did a pretty okay job of hosting, and Keri was a TROOPER for sticking out till the end of the show LOL

THE BAD:

-Sigh-...When Kanya King (MOBO Founder) walked onstage, I was disturbed by the 'piece' on her head. Their paying these women so much money, I KNOW homegirl can afford to bb message Kelly Rowland and ask her for the name of her weave consultant!
The AWFUL banta between the presenters, and the hosts (Reggie & Keri Hilson). It was so cringe worthy and cheesy.....
The fact that EVERY SINGLE PERSON who presented an award mentioned GlASGOW atleast twice! We get it already...
Supposedly it was the 'MOBO awards' fault that Kelly Rowland missed her cue and it messed up her sound.
JLS MIMING 'BEAT AGAIN'. I'm sorry, I find it so unacceptable that a group who came from a competition BASED ON LIVE SINGING, chose to mime.
Keri Hilson's performance ft/Neyo-Cruz . This wasn't a very good/strong performance from Keri, when Taio Cruz sang Neyo's part it didnt make it any better.

Omarion Signs with EMI!

After that sudden cash money signing and leaving, Omarion has now found a home at EMI. He revealed to MTV that he signed a new deal with EMI to create his own imprint 'StarWorld Entertainment', where he will release his third studio Album Ollusion, due November 24. Now I'm guessing this is what triggered it off because Mashonda wrote a VERY LONG letter/tweet (using twitlong), and homegirl was NOT IMPRESSED on how in sensitive she felt Alicia was being towards her situation. Wellllllllll....I honestly did NOT see that one coming! I thought Amelle was the one leaving, but it's been confirmed via her twitter (about 25 mins ago)... that Keisha Buchanan has left the sugababes!!

There has been speculation this weekend of the Sugababes split, when Amelle reportedly went M.I.A for a few days.. after a row with Keisha. But for whatever reason, Keisha is the one who has decided to leave.

I feel it for the hardcore Sugababes fans tho, Keisha is the ONLY original member of the line up, and has been a Sugababe for 11 years. Im guessing she's gonna go on and try and pursue a solo career? Who knows! I'm not a huge Sugababe fan if I'm honest, but Kiesha has stuck it out for a really long time, and home girl has a really nice voice... so kudos to her and we wish her the best in her endeavours.

So its looking like maybe Keisha got kicked out???? KMT Im soooo vex, I was looking forward to Jade starting her new SOLO career. Im not feeling this sugababes move at ALL.....

For those of you who don't know who Jade is, she represented Britian in this years 'Eurovision Song Contest', and was recently nominated for a mobo in the 'Best New Artist' category!

Chris Brown Starts His 180 Days Of Community Service!

Yesterday YBF posted the first pictures of C.Breezy doing his community service in Richmond (Sept 16th). He's now paying his 'debt to society', so we'll see if he's back on the right track.... (fingers crossed)

Brown begins his 8-hour work day at 8:00 AM when a Department of Corrections bus picks him up, along with 30-40 other offenders. Brown will wear a reflective orange vest and pick up trash and litter along highways and roads. He’ll also have to trim brush along medians, remove gang graffiti from the VCU campus, and wash the inside and outside of law enforcement vehicles. Richmond City Councilman Doug Conner says Brown will be kept “under the watchful eye of a supervisor” to make sure he doesn’t cut any corners. - Crunkstacle.net

This is the Album cover for the debut of X-Factor sensation 'JLS'. When JLS appeared on the X-Factor, I REALLY loved them - their energy/voices & charisma. Before the X-Factor they seemed to be heavily R'n'B influenced and that was their sound; however after the X-Factor it was clear to see that they would be going down the 'POP' route. I was pretty disappointed after hearing 'Beat Again' (very catchy tho!), and after hearing the second single I still feel kind of 'BLAH' about it! 'Everybody In Love' is the second mid-tempo single from the boys. I REALLY REALLY hope they have at least 3 strong R'n'B tracks on the album. It's starting to become obvious that you either go pop or you won't make it in the UK industry.....(Everybody In Love Rating=3.5/5)

FYI: I STILL LOVE JLS! (Just not feeling the singles they've produced so far.)

Alexandra Burke was the winner of The X-Factor 2008, and now she's finally set to release her album. It was slated to go head to head with her ex-mentor (Cheryl Cole)...But I see the label soon rectified that and changed the date! Lol

British born group (yes group, NOT boyband) 'FDM', have been gone for the LONGEST MINUTE - and they recently had a track leaked on Youtube. Personally I think FDM are the best RnB group to ever come out of the U.K.... Period. Their fans have been waiting years for them to release an album or even another single; as their album kept getting pushed back. They now have a home at Geffen/Compound Entertainment, so we're just waiting on them to let us know when something will be released. "Let Me Holla" - Produced by Mario Winans & Penned by RL of 'Next', sounds like an unfinished track to me. Like there may be some tweeks that need tightening up. HOWEVER, this ish is a STRAIGHT BANGER!!!!! I LOVE! Plus Kyle is singing more 'YAAAYYYY'. Defo a good look... Can you hear this going in the clubs? AHHH SHID :-D (Let Me Holla Rating=5/5)

WHAT in the name of N*Sync is Jennifer Lopez wearing???!!! Im not feeling the arm things.. OR the shoes with that outfit. I request that she returns it to the store she got it from.... for a FULL refund :-| (FYI I think it would have been a BEAUTIFUL dress, minus the arm things & the shoes.. but plus patent black heels!)

Yesterday the VMA's headed back to NYC, for MTV's legendary awards show! Here our are FASHION HITS of the night:

Lady in Red - Beyonce looked sexy in this leg showing get up! The ruffled front dress was simple yet sexy, and she worked it like a pro as usual....

Cassie looked cute in her lil mini dress! Her boots are hella tight too... not sure I would have put the two together, but its working for her! She needs to get rid of that yellow bag ASAP tho... :-/

Miss Keri Baby was workin the black jumpsuit, and I loved the white detail on the shoulders.... she doesnt get enough kudos for her fashion picks sometimes.... lovin it!

I also really liked how Solange rocked the black too, but made it her own AND stand out! The fetchin pink nails are really cute.. sometimes u can get lost when theres alot going on with a dress - but solo is wearing the dress and not letting the dress wear her!

Is the baby here yet? Is it not?.. after weeks of ping ponging back and forth, Lauren London's publicist confirmed that Lauren London delivered her baby with Lil Wayne right by her side!!

HipHollywood.com reports:

According to Lauren London’s publicist, Jocelyn R. Coleman of Favor PR, “Lauren London and Dwayne Carter welcomed their healthy baby boy into the world on 09-09-09. Everyone is happy and well.”

This is Laurens 1st child, and Wayne's 3rd...CONGRATULATIONS to both of them!! awwww..wonder what his name is?
