NY PREMIERE OF 'I CAN DO BAD ALL BY MYSELF'!

Yesterday was the NY premiere of Tyler Perry's " I can do bad all by myself " movie. The cast includes Oscar nominated actress Taraji P Henson, & Grammy award winning artist Mary J Blige! Tyler Perry is bring home some SERIOUS bacon with his production company, and all the 'Medea' movies he's making. I CANNOT WAIT to see 'Why Did I Get Married 2' - its one of my favourite movies! The movie cast also includes Brian White & Adam Rodriguez (CSI Miami)

BAD BOYS 3 IN DEVELOPMENT!

Although its in very early stages, Columbia pictures are said to be in development for the next installment of the Will & Martin duo.... BAD BOYS 3!!

THR reports that Columbia Pictures has hired Peter Craig to write a screenplay for Bad Boys 3. But the project is only in the early stages and none of the participants have yet agreed to return.

"The hope is to get both Martin Lawrence and Will Smith to return, alongside director Michael Bay and producer Jerry Bruckheimer. Bruckheimer said in an interview that When we had about two weeks of shooting left to go on Bad Boys II, Will and Martin were having such a good time, they phoned (Columbia studio boss) Amy Pascal and said, ‘We want to sign up for another one.’ So hopefully we’ll get them all back together again.”

At the 2008 MTV Movie Awards, Will Smith told Hollyscoop that he had an idea for Bad Boys 3, but added that “Michael (Bay) is too expensive now. He’s way too expensive.” And that is the big hurdle — getting the cash to bring back Will Smith, who has since exploded into a megastar, Bruckheimer, who never comes cheap, and Bay, who is now use to collecting percentages of toy merchandise Lucas-style."

AHHH hope they work it out!! I'll keep you updated on this story... I LOVED Bad Boys 1 & 2!!

5 Things We're NOT afraid to say!!

1. Girls Aloud Can Out-Perform Sugababes = FACT!

There's ALWAYS gonna be a comparison between girlbands who make similar music, even more so when the industry is as small as the UK's. I like the sugababes, and collectively as a group - they have the better VOCAL TALENT. But performance wise, Girls Aloud throw them under a bus!
Their fans often say their not a 'dancing' group, and thats fine! Alicia Keys doesn't dance, Kate Nash sits at a bloody piano and I am still entertained by their performances. They lack a certain charisma, that OMPH, that visible blood,sweat and tears passion..... On stage! To be blunt, there BORING live...

But Girls Aloud BRING IT 150% when they hit their live tours - singing,dancing, the theatrical aspect and pure enjoyment. Its entertaining!

(I do however want to credit the Sugababes for singing live, writing their own music, and their longevity throughout their career!)



2.Estelle can't really sing = FACT!

I love Estelle's delivery on tracks, and I was defo feeling her flow when she came out with '1980'! But the fact of the matter is, she doesn't have a GOOD singing voice. Personally I think she should stick to rapping, like she did way back when! Maybe it's because I'm such a music buff? I hear certain riffs or adlibs.... and I think to myself 'WOAH, what was that???'

If someone sends me a song where vocally Estelle is 'GETTIN IT'.... I will eat my words. Until then, I know ya'll where thinking it.....






3.Maybe It's about time you..Let It Go = HALF FACT!

I was one of their biggest fans, back in their 'B2K PHENOMENON' days. Fizz & Boog have just realised a new song, and I applaud their efforts... but without O and Raz-B, I just don't see the 'big come back' happening!

When you love music, I know it's all you see yourself doing. But it's been like 6 years.... I think they need to holla @ a 9-5 and call it a day, maybe music on the side perhaps? :-/... I mean that in the nicest way cos I still love them!

4.MOBO's becoming a joke? = FACT

I think its really great that the UK music scene can come together to celebrate Urban music, and the black talent that we have in the country. However as the years have gone by, the MOBO's have gotten worse and worse.. (I won't even talk about last year!) Ive even started to notice that BIG international acts, don't even turn up anymore! The show on a whole is going down hill. They need to get together and holla @ a note pad..... write down some ideas on how they plan to fix this mess!

This years gospel category was probably my first 'WTH?' reaction to the awards. There are so many artists who deserved to be in that category, and worked really hard over the past year (ie, Guvna B & Tye Tribett) - I was VERY disappointed @ that category! Ki Ki defo should have been nominated last year ..... and who in the name of N*Sync are Desire To Worship God!? :-|

5.Memo: Misteeq is over - FACT!

I could understand if they were doing promo because they had singles coming out, or solo albums, or were on a TV show, or a movie maybe? But I'm seeing these two popping up at current events everywhere. Alesha Dixon has gone on to launch her solo career and has been quite successful..... I know both of them are probably working on their solo efforts, HOWEVER.. someone please inform them that Misteeq split up 500 years ago -sigh-.... I mean that in the kindest way possible! Please stop trynna cling on to the 'fame'...

I'm actually REALLY glad Kimberley Walsh is stepping out on her own, and has become the new face of New Look's Autumn/Winter collection 2009!She is sometimes over shadowed by her very popular BFF (Cheryl Cole), but she actually has a nice voice and I think she's the 'SEXIEST' out of the goup. The collection is looking pretty kool, and at an affordable price! The curviest member of Girls Aloud is looking hella cute in these shots... you better go Kimba!

Alesha Dixon & Fern Cotton were spotted a few weeks ago enjoying the California sunshine! They took a drive in a convertible Mustang and made a stop at Shutters by the Beach in Santa Monica, CA. Alesha & Fern completed the climb to Mount Kilimanjaro earlier this year, for comic relief!

I'm sure most of you remember Alesha Dixon's split from her ex husband, so solid front man MC Harvey! He cheated on her with Javine (Most memorable/or not.. from 'Pop Stars The Rivals'). Well Jamelia had a few words to say on the matter when she appeared on 'Never Mind The Buzzcocks' a few years ago. I thought this was bloody hilarious... LMAO!

X Factor Double Take? - B.Knight does some shopping!

So the Mail Online are claiming that the woman above, (Stacey Solomon) bares a striking resemblance to Mrs Cheryl Cole. Ummm are they blind? She looks NOTHING like Cheryl if I'm honest!(Not that she's not pretty, I just think Cheryl Cole has an distinct beauty ANNNDD the fact that they don't look alike :-|). The 19 year old stepped onstage and apparently had the audience and the judges on her side from the moment she started singing.

Simon told the teenager: "Stacey, I am rarely surprised but that took me by surprise. You are really good."
Cheryl Cole added: "I had a preconceived idea of what you might sound like. I didn't expect you to be that good."

I am soooo excited about the Xfaxtor returning tomorrow (whoop! - August 22nd ITV1).For those of you who don't already know, the show will take a new format this year with a live audience for the auditions. Beverley Knight, Britains arguably most talented Soul Singer was seen doing some shopping at Lipsy the other day! This is the second Lipsy sighting as Alesha Dixon was seen there previously. I really loved Bev back in the 90's! She had some really GOOD music out.. hmm wonder when she's gonna have some good new material? Anyway she looks cute in her lil dress, the shoes are cute too! Not sure about the colour...

On set with Sarah Harding!

For everyone who knows me knows that I am a recently converted Girls Aloud fan :-D! At the moment the 5 ladies are following their own paths, and completling different solo projects. Sarah Harding (who I think I'd most have a laugh with), is currently playing a few different rolls and pursuing her acting career.

In 2007, Girls Aloud had a cameo in the St.Trinians film that grossed £15 million at the Box office! This time around harding has her own roll in the film,"St Trinian’s 2: The Legend Of Fritton’s Gold" and she seems to be enjoying herself!

Yesturday, (Sunday 16th August) she was seen filming some seens and having fun on set!

Get Da London Look - & Cheza's New album!!

"I love R'n'B"


Cheryl Cole is gearing up,and preparing material for the release of her solo album! The girls aloud singer has been back and forth from L.A to London, working on the project in between Girls Aloud work! Her debut album is looking like it wiill be heavily R'n'B based; Cole has stated on previous occasions her love for R'n'B.Supposedly the group will take one years break, and during this time Cheryl will release her album.

Taio Cruz has already penned a 'club banger' for the star, alongside Will.i.am who has produced a few tracks for her! Cheryl featured on his hit 'heart breaker' which reached #4 in the UK charts.

Chris Brown, Will.i.am and Omarion, have all been seen leaving the studio with her - and are apparently featured on tracks with the girls aloud singer! I'm actually really excited to hear what she's gonna come out with....

Did you see her on 'The passions of girls aloud"? Baby girl has SERIOUS rhythm and can really dance! I don't think she has the strongest voice in the group, but she has the drive to take her really far. I think her album will be really good!.. FINGERS CROSSED!
