New Music!

The Game ft/Justin Timberlake (& Pharell) -
Ain't No Doubt About It

This Neptunes produced track is defo a new avenue for 'The Game'. It doesn't sound like a beat that he'd sit on AT ALL, but it is nice to see him try something new and more commercial. This is a feel good summer jam and I'm loving it. Pharrell never disappoints in the beat department, shawty knows what he's doing! The Game fans may think this is a bit 'soft' for the gangsta rapper, but I think it's refreshing! (JT is sitting on the track nicely...as usual!)

Kelly Rowland - Commander

Well it looks like another 'Electro/Pop' smash for Kelly Rowland taste, but this ! This is not to EVERYONE'Selectro/club vibe seems to be working for her, and im sure that crowd are gonna love it in the clubs! Kelly is getting next to NO love stateside, but the European countries seem to be eating her music up. I defo see where she's trynna go with this track, very Lady Ga Ga/Cascada/Rihanna ish....... I do miss her vocals tho. Home girl can sing *remembers the DC days*

New Videos!

Alexandra Burke ft/ Pitbull - All Night Long

Alexandra Burke FINALLY premiered her new video for all night long
which left me with a 'ehh so,so' feeling. To me the video looks like a mix between 'Ive got a feeling' & 'Just dance', but with a MUCH smaller budget. I do think she looks the best she's ever looked tho, I don't love it & I don't hate it. It was OK.

T.I - I'm Back

King of the south rapper T.I is letting everyone know that ' he's back '. Fresh from his stint in prison, you can see that he was eager to drop something for his fans, and I doubt that they are disappointed!I don't have much to say about the video, cos I realise it's a statement. But I do like the song, so thumbs up Tip! (His forthcoming album King Unchanged, is due out August 17th)

FDM - DROP THE WORLD
CLICK TO DOWNLOAD 'THE PUDDING MIXTAPE- FDM'

So if you had any questions to whether FDM were still current or could still do this, their mixtape clears up ALL of those questions. This mixtape is STRAIGHT FIRE ! The UK male RnB group (formally known as Fun*dmenal), have been extremely quiet for the last few years, but are definitely pleasing their fans withe this mixtape. They are currently signed to Geffen & Neyo's label Compound Entertainment. I really really hope that they put out a single or actually get to release their album soon - cos I'd hate to see such amazingly talented guys, NOT get the shine and the acknowledgement they deserve. I can tell their very patient boys lol. . . But you know what they say. . . .Good things come to those who wait!

35,000 downloads within the first 2 hours . Men lie Women lie Numbers don't . That is all .

New Music!

Jennifer Lopez - Louboutins

Jenny from the block is returning to her music with her 1st official single 'Louboutins', off her sixth studio album 'Love?'. The Dream & Tricky Stewart produced track was originally given to Brandy before she left Epic Records. I'm glad J.Lo picked up the track because this isn't B's style AT ALL! It's suited for someone who doesn't have a very strong voice... ( ENTER J.LO). It's not a song I would download from iTunes... but if I heard it on the radio I'd definitely bop my head along to the beat!

Jennifer will be performing this song LIVE at this years American Music Awards - The show will air in America this Sunday (Nov 2nd) @ 8pm/7 c. Other performers on the night include Rihanna, BEP, Mary J Blige, Jay-Z, Lady GaGa, Whitney Houston. Alicia Keys, Janet Jackson and Shakira. GREAT line up!!

Timberland ft/ Justin Timberlake - Crazy Girl

Timbo is back with another album 'Shock Value: 2', and as usual he's bringing a few heavy hitters along for the ride! 'Crazy Girl' didn't make the official track lisiting for the album, but it as a track intended for the album! The dynamic duo fail to 'WOW' me on this track, but it doesn't disappoint either...I can see defo see why it didn't make the cut. To me it sounds like a recycled beat - something that ive heard from Timberland before. Having said that, production wise no one is really touching Timbo! A nice track... the two work well together.

New Videos!

Beyonce ft/ Lady GaGa - Video Phone (Extended remix)

Ive been waiting like an extra week to see this video, and I wasn't left disappointed or extra happy after watching it. I don't feel the video has shown ANY type of growth! It looks like a video from the 'B'Day' collection - so who ever edited this or chose the direction, I feel they could have produced a much better video on a whole.
Having said that, B is a bad bish and kills it every time! I enjoyed the colour backdrops & different fierce outfits. The break down with lady gaga was dope too. I LOVEEE B .... & this video is Sexyy and fierce. But I feel like I wanted a lil more than that from her this time around.......

Alicia Keys - Try Sleeping with a broken heart

Alicia Keys is known for her video's with a story line, and this is another one to add to the stack! I actually really liked the song when I first heard it,and after seeing the video.. I'm kinda left nodding and saying "that was nice". I got the concept of being a super hero and still having a a broken heart.. the lil girl's dog died and she healed the girls broken heart.. and so on and so on. Although she looks effortlessly beautiful as usual, everything was just "nice" about the video and the song. Nothing HOT or FIERCE........ But maybe sometimes a lil nieceness is needed?

Shakira ft/ Lil Wayne - Give it up to me

I lubbsss me some shakira! Some people don't really get her or her voice, but it's just different and I like that about her. You can tell that this video was quickly put together if I'm honest..... The catchy Timberland produced track, has been added to her album listing at the last minute - I think her record company made a smart decision! I'm so over hearing wayne on EVERYONES track now.....the choreography was good, the song is catchy..... a solid effort from Shakira.

NEW MUSIC : Rihanna - Russian Roulette

Ive gotta go out, so I'll be back to update this on what I think later! Until then, have a listena nd take the poll....

Video News!

Ri Ri Preps For VIDEO + ALBUM release!

Robyn "Rihanna" Fenty is currently on a promo drive for her upcoming album/video/single. It was officially announced yesterday via Ryan Seacrest, that "Russian Roulette" is the title for her new single! The track gets it's first air play today at 11:23 am (4:23 pm UK time). No need to wait tho my U.K folk, no doubt their will be a radio rip floating about on YouTube! I think Ri Ri looks absolutely F-E-T-C-H, in these pics of her shooting the video..You can also peep the exclusive footage of the shoot below.

PLEASE VISIT : RIHANNADAILY.COM FOR MORE PICS OF RIHANNA @ HER SHOOT!

Trey Songz Shoots Video For 'I Invented Sex'!

Ladies Man Trey Songz recently shot the video for his next single, 'I invented Sex'. The singer is seen getting his sexy orrnnn with leading lady/model 'Grace'. No word on when this is dropping, but I shall keep you posted... yum :-)

50 Cent & Kelly Rowland 'Baby By Me'!

Now this is sumthin I never thought I'd see, or talk about! Kelly Rowland stars in 50 Cent's new video 'Baby By Me', as his baby mama/leading lady! That shot is a really nice shot tho, very good chemistry. The single features singer/songwriter Ne-Yo, and the vid seems to have an '80s# type style to it. Let the love rumors role........ lol

Chris Brown ready to release ' I Can Transform Ya' Video!

Ahhhhh Whoop Whoop! VERY excited about this video. Below are some stills & behind the scenes flix of his shoot, and as usual.. it looks like Chris is ready to BRANG it for this video come back! Can't wait.. :-)

New Music OVERLOAD!

Robin Thicke - Sex Theraphy
  • The song is produced by Palow The Don, and sounds ALOT like Ciara's 'Promise'. I still LOVE this song, Robin's back doing what he does best!

R.Kelly - Religious
  • This is the second single off of his forthcoming album 'Untitled'. I'm not a big R.Kelz fan, but you can't deny his pen skills. The songs 'Okay', I'm sure his fans will love it tho!

Chris Brown - So Cold
  • Another Palow The Don produced song, Chris Brown is pouring out his heart about Ri Ri again. It's sweet, and kind of annoying..... we get it - you want her back! It's not a song I would purposly listen to his on his album, but if my jam played before this song came on... I wouldn't necessarily skip it either. It's one of those 'I'll let it play, cos it's on' songs!

Mary J Blige - Skycap

  • I LOVE! Mary is staying relevant through out the years, and it's paying off! This song is produced by Timberland and is said to be a mix from her current album. But as it didn't make the cut, I'm hoping it will be on the next one.. :-)!

Mariah Carey ft/T Pain - Candy Bling

  • With poor sales of her latest album, I'm guessing T-Pain jumped on a track to give her a lil boost!? Another 'OKAY' song from Mariah. Everyone knows she has the pipes, but she hasn't really been delivering her 'Infamous Mi Mi' tracks lately... T-Pain doesn't add or remove anything from the track in my opinion!

Wale ft/Rihanna - Contemplate/Can I Endure
  • Wale is a DC rapper making moves in the industry. He was recently signed to Jay-Z's 'Roc Nation' label, and had success with his first single ft/ Lady GaGa. This new song feautring Bajan born Rihanna, has a hard hitting beat that he flows nicely over. Worth a listen!

Michael Jackson - This Is It
  • To me this sounds like the old MJ we knew and loved! Of course it's not as good as his old stuff like 'Off The Wall' & 'Bad'... but it's a NICE song! RIP MJ.... still bumping his albums hard :-)..

Cheryl Cole ft/ Will.i.Am - Three Words
  • This will be Cheryl's second single off her debut solo album, also entitled 'Three Words'.I can see what she was trynna do here, take risks with songs and try something different. It's rocky/elctro vibe is evident... but I'm not sure she delivers this the way it was intended to. Obviously still no 'GREAT' vocals from Cheryl. But do we still love her?.... OF COURSE!

Snoop Dogg ft/The Dream - Gangsta Luv

  • For some reason, whenever I hear a snoop song.. I feel like I wanna crip walk or throw up signs or SUTTIN! lool Dream's voice really annoys me if I hear it for too long, so his part is pretty BLAH to me. As usual Snoop delivers his smooth cali flow, thats been working for him for all these years. If you like heavy beats, you'll like this song!

Usher - Papers
  • So the divorce papers have been filed & Usher and his former boo are ready to let it do what it do! Usher sings about his divorce on the track, and lets his emotion show like he did on 'You Got It Bad'. Let it out Ursh.... Let it Out!

Music News!

Omarion Signs with EMI!

After that sudden cash money signing and leaving, Omarion has now found a home at EMI. He revealed to MTV that he signed a new deal with EMI to create his own imprint 'StarWorld Entertainment', where he will release his third studio Album Ollusion, due November 24. I was feelin the song 'I Get It In' that was leaked ft/ Lil Wayne.... I hear now Gucci Mane is on it and Wayne's off? I dunno, but heres the link

I Get It In - Omarion ft/ Lil Wayne

Chris Brown set to release new material!

Chris Brown recently tweeted that he'll be releasing his new song 'Transformers' ft/Lil Wayne, tomorrow (Sept 29th). I'm guessing he's either releasing a ZSHARE link, or it gets radio play tomorrow... it'l probably be in the U.S - so U.K/Other readers get ready for the youtube Rip. I Know C Breezy fans are mad excited about this.... not gonna lie, it'll be good to hear some new material from Chris. I'm a fan of his music! (Oh and pleassseeeee watch the Affion Crockett (Wild N Out) spoof of RUN THIS TOWN, ish is hillllllaaariioouussss)

Run This Town/Chris Brown Spoof

And there off! - Sugababes showcase new Line up!

Sooooo this is basically where it all starts now - It's promo time for the Sugababes 4.0/Sugababes.. whatever! They publicly showcased the new line up for the first time which now consists of Jade Ewen, Amelle Berrabah & Heidi Range. It's still really weird seeing the line up without Keisha! Like Ive said previously, Ive never been a big Sugababe fan.... but I DO think it's disrespectful that their still calling themselves the Sugababes with NOT ONE original member. Especially after Keisha FOUNDED the group! SMH anway.. they hit up Radio One to promote the new single 'About A Girl', and premiered it with Jade's Vocals.
(Another Club/Dance track surprise surprise... but ANNOYINGLY I like this Lol, I think it'll be #1 ...if their fans get over Keisha leaving)

New Videos Pt.2!

Kano - Rock N Roller
*Sigh*.. I love this man!!.. SNM (The song goes well with the video too :-) )

[LIVE] Beyonce - Medley
Woah, as usual.. Bee is killing the LIVE performances!

[LIVE] Jay-Z -Roc Boys

I really really liked this... Jay and his band really know how to capture a song without doing to much!

[LIVE] Esmee Denters - Admit it/Outta Here
Hmmmm to be honest I didnt LOVE it! She looks hot, and her vocals sound really decent. You have to remember she certainly done COME UP, from Youtube singing to a webcam! She's not a great performer, but she has time... a solid LIVE effort tho. Better than than Cassie disaster...

New Videos!

Last years X-Factor winners, Cheryl Cole (Mentor) and Alexandra Burke (Mentee) - premiered their new videos in the early hours of this morning, on ITV & ITV2.

Cheryl Cole - Fight For This Love (Official Video)

Even tho we all know Cheryl Cole isn't that much of a great vocalist - I really LOVE the song & the video! I'm feeling her first solo effort..... look @ her lil body roll moves, she better geddit!!

Alexandra Burke ft/Flo Rida - Alexandra Burke (Official Video)

I'm on the fence about this song and this video. She looks GREAT in this tho! HATE Flo Ridas verse, but she is defo pleasing her fans with this pop/club song.... so kudos to her!

British Invasion ft/ JLS, Alexandra Burke & FDM

This is the Album cover for the debut of X-Factor sensation 'JLS'. When JLS appeared on the X-Factor, I REALLY loved them - their energy/voices & charisma. Before the X-Factor they seemed to be heavily R'n'B influenced and that was their sound; however after the X-Factor it was clear to see that they would be going down the 'POP' route. I was pretty disappointed after hearing 'Beat Again' (very catchy tho!), and after hearing the second single I still feel kind of 'BLAH' about it! 'Everybody In Love' is the second mid-tempo single from the boys. I REALLY REALLY hope they have at least 3 strong R'n'B tracks on the album. It's starting to become obvious that you either go pop or you won't make it in the UK industry.....(Everybody In Love Rating=3.5/5)

FYI: I STILL LOVE JLS! (Just not feeling the singles they've produced so far.)

Alexandra Burke was the winner of The X-Factor 2008, and now she's finally set to release her album. Above is the official album cover in which they used a promo shot for her SINGLE 'Bad Boys'. -Cough-.. cheap skates... -cough-. Her album will be dropping October 19th! It was slated to go head to head with her ex-mentor (Cheryl Cole)...But I see the label soon rectified that and changed the date! Lol

British born group (yes group, NOT boyband) 'FDM', have been gone for the LONGEST MINUTE - and they recently had a track leaked on Youtube. Personally I think FDM are the best RnB group to ever come out of the U.K.... Period. Their fans have been waiting years for them to release an album or even another single; as their album kept getting pushed back. They now have a home at Geffen/Compound Entertainment, so we're just waiting on them to let us know when something will be released. "Let Me Holla" - Produced by Mario Winans & Penned by RL of 'Next', sounds like an unfinished track to me. Like there may be some tweeks that need tightening up. HOWEVER, this ish is a STRAIGHT BANGER!!!!! I LOVE! Plus Kyle is singing more 'YAAAYYYY'. Defo a good look... Can you hear this going in the clubs? AHHH SHID :-D (Let Me Holla Rating=5/5)

If you'd like more info on FDM, pls visit their official website: www.fdmofficial.com

X-Factor Face Off - Alex vs Cheryl!

Cheryl Cole & Alexandra Burke are set to go head to head in the Album charts! Cheryl Cole who mentored Alex in the 08 win of X Factor, has has to go up against one of her girls. The Girls Aloud star announced that her solo project will be released on the 23rd of October... the same day as Alexandra's!

" If releasing her album the same day as Burke wasn’t enough, the Girls Aloud star could also knock Alexandra’s debut single Bad Boys off the number 1 spot as the X Factor winner releases her single the week before Cheryl on 12th October." -mtv.co.uk

Either way I know Chezza will be happy for Alex and vis versa, no matter who comes out ontop!
Yesterday Cheryl had the net buzzing with the release of her solo single " Fight For This Love". The record sounds very personal, and may be reflection of how she feels about her relationship with hubby Ashley Cole. So far there have been mixed reviews towards Cole's single....Heres my HONEST opinion about it:

"Fight For This Love" Opinion:

Cheryl Cole's beauty and stella moves are undeniable! She also has a great warm hearted ora about her. I've thought this from the beginning and still think it now -Nadine Coyle carries the rest of the group VOCALLY.I didn't like the song straight away, I had to listen to it a few times to really get into it... and I think it's a 'GOOD' effort for her first solo single. Will it go to #1? Probably yes. Will she break the US with the single? Probably not. Cheryl has an 'Okay' voice.... she's not AMAZING and she's not TERRIBLE.

I love Girls Aloud collectively as a group, but VOCALLY Nadine has the voice to go further than Cheryl. The only reason she might not... is because Cheryl gets MUCH more publicity than she does. I think Nicola also has the potential to go solo if she really wanted too... she has a lovely voice.

It really annoys me when FANS can't be real! Just because you love someone doesn't mean what they do is always gonna be great. The song is 'Okay' for what it is.... but I have a feeling she has better songs on her album. Look forward to hearing them!

New Music : Download Cheryl Cole - Fight For This Love

Cheryl Cole's first official solo single! Download 'Cheryl Cole - Fight For This Love' by clicking the link above.. what do ya think? Lyrically the song is really good..the more I hear the song, the more I like it!

Lyrcis:

Too much of anything can make you sick
Even the good thing could be a curse, curse
Makes it hard which road to go down
Knowing too much can get your hurt
Is it better, is it worst
Are we sitting in reverse
Its just like we're going backwards
I know where I want this to go
We're traveling fast but lets go slow
But I don't want us to crash no

Just know you're not in this thing alone
There's always a place in me that you can call home
Whenever you feel like we're growing apart
Let's just go back, back, back, back, back to the start

Anything that's worth having
Is sure enough worth fighting for
Quit is out of the question
We make a stop, gotta fight some more
We gotta fight, fight, fight, fight, fight for this love
We gotta fight, fight, fight, fight, fight for this love
We gotta fight, fight, fight, fight, fight for this love
Its worth having, its worth fighting for (Oh)

Now everyday aint gon' be no picnic (Mm)
Love aint no walk in the park
All you can do is make the best of it, yeah
Can't be afraid of the dark, nah

Just know you're not in this thing alone
There's always a place in me that you can call home
Whenever you feel like we're growing apart
Let's just go back, back, back, back, back to the start

Anything that's worth having
Is sure enough worth fighting for
Quit is out of the question
We make a stop, gotta fight some more
We gotta fight, fight, fight, fight, fight for this love
We gotta fight, fight, fight, fight, fight for this love
We gotta fight, fight, fight, fight, fight for this love
Its worth having, its worth fighting for (Oh)

I don't know where we're heading
I'm willing to be ready to go
We can't drive it too fast, we just need to slow down
And just fall

Anything that's worth having
Is sure enough worth fighting for
Quit is out of the question
We make a stop, gotta fight some more
We gotta fight, fight, fight, fight, fight for this love
We gotta fight, fight, fight, fight, fight for this love
We gotta fight, fight, fight, fight, fight for this love
Its worth having, its worth fighting for (Oh) x Repeat

New Videos!

Drake & Trey Songz - Successful
love the song! The videos 'Okay', MUUCCHH better than 'Every Girl' ..gosh that was a mess!

Chipmunk - Oopsy Daisy

I really like this one! The song matches the video, and its a more mature sounding chipmunk. Is that the girl from Kidulthood/Adulthood singing on the hook?

Fizz & Boog - Bounce
This song is off the 'Bring it on 2' soundtrack, and is a really decent effort from the former B2K members. Boog is still as fine as eva... -fans myself-

Mary J Blige ft/Drake - The one
Mary's jumped on the electro pop/r'n'b band waggon. HOWEVER she is the ONLY artist who's been able to stay relevant throughout her career, & not fall off - I LOVE that about her! Drake kills his bars effortlessly as usual .. -sigh-

Alexandra Burke - PROMO TIME!

Alexandra Burke (Winner of the 5th series of X Factor UK), has just released the shots for her debut single. The London born singer has relased news about her new song, the info we know so far is below:

Single name: BAD BOYS
Featuring: FLO RIDA
Produced by: THE PHANTOM BOYZ
First listen: CHRIS MOYLES breakfast show-Radio 1 ( TUESDAY 25TH AUGUST)

According to reports it's a really upbeat song, ( which I guessed, when I heard Flo Rida had jumped on the track) I'm really excited to hear the track! They've sexed her up a bit with these new promo pics, but I actually expected that. I think with the up tempo, she's trying to steer completely left of her common comparison 'Leona Lewis'. Although I think their both great vocalist's, that's where the comparison ends for me. I haven't been feeling what's leaked for Alex so far.. I really hope this track is a banga!

Fierce!!!

In other Alex news, she's been seen out and about recently with Tinchy Stryder and Shontelle! The threesome are are really good friends , and have been kickin it and enjoying some downtime together. If your wondering who Shontelle is...... I'm wondering the same thing! LOL J/P she's another Bajan up and coming artist on Akons Label.

[EXCLUSIVE Video Premiere] We Run This Town - Jay-Z ft/Rihanna & Kanye West

Run This Town - Jay-Z ft/ Rihanna & Kanye West

Shout out to Luv DC for leaking this video (it'll be out this week/next week anyway)! With all the previews of the song the final edit is here. I really love the song and how they deliver on it, the video matches the choon so im happy about that. Rihanna's swag is somehow lost in the video tho, she doesn't seem as cocky or edgy... and her lil dance moves are a lil off. I think she needed to put in alot of attitude of this song for it to work. Maybe they told her to tone it down? hmmmmmm

Anywho! Love the song, and the video compliments it well. Good job

New Music!

Miss Leona Lewis is gearing up for the debut of her sophomore album, and along with prep comes the leaks! This song features Justin Timberlake and is reportedly produced by Timberland.

Leona is actually the ONLY contestant I've actually voted for in the final (lol), I think she has a beautiful amazing voice.. but I really wish she would do some more R'n'B based songs :-(. I guess beggars can't be choosers...at least she can actually blow!

Hopefully this isn't the direction that ALL the tracks on the album will take.. because I'd be disappointed. The song is 'OK' in my books, but I'm glad to see JT is featured and she's working with heavy hitter producers!

She's seriously flying the British flag!
