The ORIGINAL Sugababes set to reform?

As most of you know by now the current 'Sugababes', no longer have any founding/original members left in the group. The rumors of reforming come a few weeks after FOUNDING member Keisha Bunchanan was kicked out of the group - and replaced by Euro vision singer Jade Ewen.

According to Holy Moly the original line up ( Siobhan,Mutya & Keisha) are planning to reform and come back together as a group!! It's been said that Mutya has gotten back in contact with Siobhan who is some what reluctant about the reform, but is willing to hear her out. They've also been to their THIRD meeting with the record label to discuss future plans. If all of this really is happening then I CANNOT WAIT for all the madness to unfold!! :-D..... Happy Daysss.

Rachel Adedji To Work With JLS writers!

-Says it like the man on X-Factor- RAACCHEEELL ADDEDDJIIII is set to work with JLS writers some time in the future! The London native was booted off the X-Factor two weeks ago, after being in the bottom two TWICE BEFORE. Although Rachel had one of the best SINGING voices in the competition, viewers just weren't getting her as a person.
Rachel let slip in an interview that the JLS boys had informed her that Daniel Bullard (who wrote 'Beat Again'), wanted to work with the quirky styled singer ASAP! She better not come out with that cheesy crap.... anywho, we wish her nothing but the best!

JLS top the Charts with 'Everybody In Love'!

Middle of the road Boy Band sensation 'JLS' are once again at #1. JLS have made history as they are the ONLY act this year to have TWO singles sell over 100k in it's first week! Considering the runners up on X-Factor often go straight back to their day job, it's actually worked in their favour that they came second - they're doing SO WELL. Ive had my doubts about their material, and the fact that they've gone pop mainstream.... But I do give credit where credit is due and their doing an excellent job of proving people wrong! JLS can also add another line to their resume, as their tour is now officially SOLD OUT. Well done boys :-)

Joss Stone 'Lily Allen Is Not A Singer'

Soulful UK singer Joss Stone revealed to the papers that she doesn't think Lily Allen is a 'Singer'. The 22 year old released her album 'Colour Me Free' last week Monday after a long messy battle with her record label! She insisted that artists should just accept the fact that their music will be downloaded, and that they should make their money from touring instead.

"She (Lily) needs to sell records because she's not a singer, and that's not an offence to her because I think that she knows that too," she told The Mirror.

"I think she's a performer and she's more of a personality than she is a singer. But I think when musicians are really making real music people come to the show and that's what we make our money from, from playing live.

"I think it's probably harder for an artist like Lily and any other pop acts. It's really about the track and about their personality and their celebrity and that's how they make their money is selling those records.

"So the downloads - she's not going to win that fight. None of us will win that fight. So let's just accept it and let's see it as something that can be beautiful and it might change music for the better. It might sort the weeds from the flowers."

Allen was supported and backed by some songwriters/artists to stop the illegal download of music.

I forgot about Joss for a hot minuteeee. I actually really liked some of her stuff, she has a nice tone to her voice! Ya'll remember this?

There has been so much controversy surrounding the sugababes and their new line up lately, I'm surprised they've had time to promo a new single! 'About A Girl ' is the follow up to 'Get Sexy' by the trio, from their forth coming studio album 'Sweet 7'. The uptempo club song is produced by Red One, and is defo in keeping with their new sound. To be honest I much prefer the Keisha version because it makes the song more memorable! Keisha had one of those recognisable soulful voices, that Jade fails to bring to the track. Although I think they both have good voices, Keisha gets my vote on this one. A very catchy hook, and a summer clubbin vibe.... their fans will be happy with the turn out!

First I thought it was gonna be a real slow jam, then the beat sped up and I thought it was a strict techno vibe, THHHEEENN they mixed the two together and left me feeling kinda confused about the direction of the song?! -sigh- I'm disappointed because I thought there would be more R'n'B efforts from the group, but I guess not. Well it is better than the cheesy 'Beat Again' single. I'm starting to care less and less about JLS.... and I LOVED them on X-Factor... ah wells :-(

Omarion Signs with EMI!


After that sudden cash money signing and leaving, Omarion has now found a home at EMI. He revealed to MTV that he signed a new deal with EMI to create his own imprint 'StarWorld Entertainment', where he will release his third studio Album Ollusion, due November 24. Sooooo this is basically where it all starts now - It's promo time for the Sugababes 4.0/Sugababes.. whatever! They publicly showcased the new line up for the first time which now consists of Jade Ewen, Amelle Berrabah & Heidi Range. It's still really weird seeing the line up without Keisha! Like Ive said previously, Ive never been a big Sugababe fan.... but I DO think it's disrespectful that their still calling themselves the Sugababes with NOT ONE original member. Especially after Keisha FOUNDED the group! SMH anway.. they hit up Radio One to promote the new single 'About A Girl', and premiered it with Jade's Vocals.

Keisha Buchanan Leaves The Sugababes, & Is Replaced By Jade Ewen!!

Wellllllllll....I honestly did NOT see that one coming! I thought Amelle was the one leaving, but it's been confirmed via her twitter (about 25 mins ago)... that Keisha Buchanan has left the sugababes!!

There has been speculation this weekend of the Sugababes split, when Amelle reportedly went M.I.A for a few days.. after a row with Keisha. But for whatever reason, Keisha is the one who has decided to leave.

I feel it for the hardcore Sugababes fans tho, Keisha is the ONLY original member of the line up, and has been a Sugababe for 11 years. Im guessing she's gonna go on and try and pursue a solo career? Who knows! I'm not a huge Sugababe fan if I'm honest, but Kiesha has stuck it out for a really long time, and home girl has a really nice voice... so kudos to her and we wish her the best in her endeavours.

Heidi Range and Amelle Berrabah will continue as the Sugababes and will be joined by new member Jade Ewen. They release their album ‘Sweet 7’ on November 23rd through Island Records.

Keisha Buchanan will continue to record for Island Records as a solo artist.

So its looking like maybe Keisha got kicked out???? KMT Im soooo vex, I was looking forward to Jade starting her new SOLO career. Im not feeling this sugababes move at ALL.....

For those of you who don't know who Jade is, she represented Britian in this years 'Eurovision Song Contest', and was recently nominated for a mobo in the 'Best New Artist' category!

Joining an already established band, with not even ONE original band member... and you were about to do your solo thing? Lets hope her management team know what there doing KMDT!!

Trey Songz had an album release party on Tuesday night (Sept 1st), for ' Ready '. According to Bossip who were in the building, it was WIGGIDY-WACK! ZAMN!

"The ringleader Trey himself showed up hours after a mediocre performance at Highline ballroom, and of course, went straight to being the life of the party, like he knew his album went gold already or something. While there were no real superstars in the building, the groupie love status was on red alert. We don’t understand why half dressed women would really wrap the block for a man who says he’s had crabs openly, but one girl’s trash is another’s treasure… we guess.

With the exception of C-List offenders such as Mario and DJ Clue, the celebrity atmosphere was non-existent and the crowd was full of women and vogueing tinkerbells (if you get our drift). Not to bust your chops Trey, but we would love to know which side of the fence you straddle? You and Drake do collaborate a lot… We’re just sayin

Ri Ri was spotted leaving the Giorgio Baldi restaurant after dinner in Santa Monica, CA (Sept 2nd). Last night her ex boyfriend (Chris Brown), spoke on the domestic incident between the two in February. This is the first Televised interview he's done in 7 months. To be honest not many questions the public wanted to know were answered.....Wonder what Rihanna thought about it?

Our fav arm piece Amber Rose , was spotted leaving Equinox gym in West Hollywood post-workout (Sept 1st). How can someone STILL be look fly after coming from the gym? SMH... she lit up as soon as she went to the car tho! Needa quit that smoking habit Amber boo!

Keisha Buchanan (of the Sugababes), was seen leaving 'This Morning' studios in London (Sept 1st). The trio has just performed their single 'Get Sexy' on the show. Heidi (The blond one), sounded really nervous in the performance... hmmm, and you can tell that choreographed dancing doesn't come natural to them. 5 Things We're NOT afraid to say!!

1. Girls Aloud Can Out-Perform Sugababes = FACT!

There's ALWAYS gonna be a comparison between girlbands who make similar music, even more so when the industry is as small as the UK's. I like the sugababes, and collectively as a group - they have the better VOCAL TALENT. But performance wise, Girls Aloud throw them under a bus!
Their fans often say their not a 'dancing' group, and thats fine! Alicia Keys doesn't dance, Kate Nash sits at a bloody piano and I am still entertained by their performances. They lack a certain charisma, that OMPH, that visible blood,sweat and tears passion..... On stage! To be blunt, there BORING live...

But Girls Aloud BRING IT 150% when they hit their live tours - singing,dancing, the theatrical aspect and pure enjoyment. Its entertaining!

(I do however want to credit the Sugababes for singing live, writing their own music, and their longevity throughout their career!)



2.Estelle can't really sing = FACT!

I love Estelle's delivery on tracks, and I was defo feeling her flow when she came out with '1980'! But the fact of the matter is, she doesn't have a GOOD singing voice. Personally I think she should stick to rapping, like she did way back when! Maybe it's because I'm such a music buff? I hear certain riffs or adlibs.... and I think to myself 'WOAH, what was that???'

If someone sends me a song where vocally Estelle is 'GETTIN IT'.... I will eat my words. Until then, I know ya'll where thinking it.....






3.Maybe It's about time you..Let It Go = HALF FACT!

I was one of their biggest fans, back in their 'B2K PHENOMENON' days. Fizz & Boog have just realised a new song, and I applaud their efforts... but without O and Raz-B, I just don't see the 'big come back' happening!

When you love music, I know it's all you see yourself doing. But it's been like 6 years.... I think they need to holla @ a 9-5 and call it a day, maybe music on the side perhaps? :-/... I mean that in the nicest way cos I still love them!

4.MOBO's becoming a joke? = FACT

I think its really great that the UK music scene can come together to celebrate Urban music, and the black talent that we have in the country. However as the years have gone by, the MOBO's have gotten worse and worse.. (I won't even talk about last year!) Ive even started to notice that BIG international acts, don't even turn up anymore! The show on a whole is going down hill. They need to get together and holla @ a note pad..... write down some ideas on how they plan to fix this mess!

This years gospel category was probably my first 'WTH?' reaction to the awards. There are so many artists who deserved to be in that category, and worked really hard over the past year (ie, Guvna B & Tye Tribett) - I was VERY disappointed @ that category! Ki Ki defo should have been nominated last year ..... and who in the name of N*Sync are Desire To Worship God!? :-|

5.Memo: Misteeq is over - FACT!

I could understand if they were doing promo because they had singles coming out, or solo albums, or were on a TV show, or a movie maybe? But I'm seeing these two popping up at current events everywhere. Alesha Dixon has gone on to launch her solo career and has been quite successful..... I know both of them are probably working on their solo efforts, HOWEVER.. someone please inform them that Misteeq split up 500 years ago -sigh-.... I mean that in the kindest way possible! Please stop trynna cling on to the 'fame'...
