Mixtape Mondays - UK Invasion!

FDM - DROP THE WORLD
CLICK TO DOWNLOAD 'THE PUDDING MIXTAPE- FDM'

So if you had any questions to whether FDM were still current or could still do this, their mixtape clears up ALL of those questions. This mixtape is STRAIGHT FIRE ! The UK male RnB group (formally known as Fun*dmenal), have been extremely quiet for the last few years, but are definitely pleasing their fans withe this mixtape. They are currently signed to Geffen & Neyo's label Compound Entertainment. I really really hope that they put out a single or actually get to release their album soon - cos I'd hate to see such amazingly talented guys, NOT get the shine and the acknowledgement they deserve. I can tell their very patient boys lol. . . But you know what they say. . . .Good things come to those who wait!

35,000 downloads within the first 2 hours . Men lie Women lie Numbers don't . That is all .

New Music Review!

Listen To Sugababes - About A Girl [Keisha Version]

There has been so much controversy surrounding the sugababes and their new line up lately, I'm surprised they've had time to promo a new single! 'About A Girl ' is the follow up to 'Get Sexy' by the trio, from their forth coming studio album 'Sweet 7'. The uptempo club song is produced by Red One, and is defo in keeping with their new sound. To be honest I much prefer the Keisha version because it makes the song more memorable! Keisha had one of those recognisable soulful voices, that Jade fails to bring to the track. Although I think they both have good voices, Keisha gets my vote on this one. A very catchy hook, and a summer clubbin vibe.... their fans will be happy with the turn out!

JLS - One Shot

CLICK TO DOWNLOAD - JLS * One Shot

First I thought it was gonna be a real slow jam, then the beat sped up and I thought it was a strict techno vibe, THHHEEENN they mixed the two together and left me feeling kinda confused about the direction of the song?! -sigh- I'm disappointed because I thought there would be more R'n'B efforts from the group, but I guess not. Well it is better than the cheesy 'Beat Again' single. I'm starting to care less and less about JLS.... and I LOVED them on X-Factor... ah wells :-(

Listen To Jennifer Lopez (LOLA) ft/Pitbull - Fresh Out The Oven

Oh say word???? The old J.Lo is back!! Now we all know J.Lo can't really sing (:-|), but I'm feelin the way her voice is sittin on the beat and I'm liking this song! She also has an alter ego now called 'LOLA'.. I see everyones jumping on the Sasha Fierce band waggon! This track defo sounds like the old Jenny from the block is back - and putting the weak vocals aside, it's a song I can see me snappin my neck too. Get em jenny!! -Harlem Shakes-

Listen To Teairra Mari ft/Soulja Boy & Gucci Mane - Sponsor

Ive been a fan of Teairra's from DAY DOT! We actually played her CD so much in my friends car that EVERY SONG started skipping (lol). So I'm always excited to hear new material from her, and I wasn't disappointed with this leak!No one can deny Teairra's vocal talent, and I'm loving the way she's riding the track. Soulja & Gucci give the song a southern feel that fits perfectly with the hard knocking beat. I'm looking forward to Teairra's sophomore album.... BRING IT ORNN!

New Music Review!

[Zshare is down, so click the music players above the reviews!]

Dirty Money Crew - Loves Come Down

Diddys back - and this time he's bought Dawn (former Danity Kane member), and Kaleena with him! Dirty Money Crew is the name he assigned to the three piece. They have collaborated/penned many of the songs for his forth coming album 'Last Train To Paris'. This is defo a MARMITE song! You either hate it or you love it. And I'm LOVING IT! I'm so fed up of all this electro pop, and I'm glad Dawn is back with the vocals. I can see dudes going AT IT in the club to this one. Diddy's not a good rapper to me, but he's doing what he does best (@ his type of flow). I'm feeling this one Diddy.. keep it coming!

Brandy - Bet Ya Didn't Know

This leak has recently hit the net and I'm not sure if it's a song that didn't make the 'Human' album, or music for her new album. Either way, Brandy does what she is known for and delivers effortless vocals! It doesn't sound like a finished song tho, like alot of things are missing... hmmm. Another song called 'Supreme' also leaked (produced by stargate); but I decided to review this one, as it was more of a jam to me. It's defo not a single song, but like it.

Jade Ewen ft/Bashy - My Man

Jade Ewen came 5th in the Eurovision song contest for the UK, and now she's back with her first solo single. I say 'solo' because she use to belong to a group called 'TRINITY STONE'! This may be one of those songs that you have to listen to a few times before it grows on you; but it has a good hook and you can tell from the vocals, Jade can actual blow! I'm glad she's getting the exposure she deserves right now. You better go girl!

Chipmunk - Oopsey Daisy

Ive been singing this song for about three days now. The hook is permanently stuck in my head, and I'm sure I'm peeing people off LOL! I'm still not sure if the girl from Adulthood is singing the hook? I'm sure it's her tho! Her voice really goes well with the song, so it works. This is a more mature sounding Chipmunk, and I'm glad he's showing he's versatile. I prefer his flow 10x more than Tinchy's if I'm honest. This is a good song... very i-pod worthy!

New Music Review!

Click to Listen * Kano - Roc n Roller (1xtra Rip)

Ive always been a Kano fan and was a little worried when I hadn't heard any new music from him! His good friend Ghetto has been on the underground scene making himself known, and I think a few us forgot that Kano was even about. But fear not! (lol) he is back with a new song, on an electro/pop vibe. Alot of MC's are choosing this path, I think it takes them into mainstream success (sometimes)... but I dont think I'm LOVING this track :-(. Kainnzz you have already established yourself as a great artist.. you dont have to make this type of music for us to love you. We love you anyway!!

Click to Listen * Cherri V - Until The Sun Comes Up

60/60 's latest musical diva comes in the form of a berry named cherri!! Ive had the pleasure of meeting Cherri on numerous occasions, and I kid you not... EVERY SINGLE performance she never disappoints! Until the sun comes up has a rock/pop feel to it that either makes you wanna dance or sing at the top of your lungs ( even tho you don't know the words lol). It's a solid first single from the songstress, and is actually one of my favourite tracks from her! Pop/Rock/R'n'B whatever your preference you'll like this song.. GUARANTEED! ( available at HMV)
[Rating = 4/5]

Click to Listen * Yung Joc, Chris Brown & Pleasure P - Choose You

When I first heard this song I immediately thought this must be a leak from either Chris's new album, or Joc's album ( and not a single). Either way, I'm feeling the song... it makes me bop my head to the beat - but it doesn't make me wanna go to HMV and get the single. Hmmm maybe it's lacking something? Anyway I'm glad Chris is back in the studio.. I LOVES his last album and although he has the 'Ri Ri incident' hanging over his head, the boy makes good music!

Click to Listen * Usher -Cruisin

Ursher is back in the studio, putting the finishing touches on his anticipated album 'MONSTER' which I can't wait to hear! I don't think this is solid enough to be a first single, but I love his voice.. so any track he's on, I'm usually happy (ha ha ha)! If this is the direction he's going for on his new album I think we're in for a few surprises! It's a cool summer song... something i'd listen to If I was driving.. mos def!
