X-Factor born star Leona Lewis was spotted yesterday (October 14th), at Waterstone's Book Store to promote her new autobiographical book 'Dreams'. However everything didn't go to plan as a man was arrested for "slapping/punching" Leona in the face after she signed his book!! An eye witness at the scene told the BBC: "My brother saw the whole incident. He [the attacker] walked up there with the book, she signed it and, as she looked up, he just punched her. He [my brother] actually heard the impact. Suddenly the security all jumped on him and they were trying to pull him out and he was just laughing, he thought it was funny.” The picture above was taken after the incident, and as everyone can see Leona was CLEARLY shaken up by the whole thing! Her Management released this statement shortly after:
‘Leona was the victim of an unprovoked attack this afternoon at her book signing. The police were called immediately and medical attention has been sought. Leona is understandably shaken and apologizes to the fans she was unable to meet and complete signings.’
This actually made me look twice when I read that LEONA LEWIS of all people had been attacked! Sweet, lovely, soft spoken Leona Lewis! Why would someone want to do that to her? It's just so evil and unnecessary... I really do hope she's okay :-(. If this aint the BITCHASSNESS I been talking about.. then I dont know what is!
